Hello everyone.
Thank you to everyone who has followed this blog, we appreciate your interest and support. We’re glad you’ve enjoyed sharing this trip with us. I apologize for not writing as often as I’d like. There are many more stories we want excited to share when time allows.
Cruising is a wonderful lifestyle, but it comes with its share of challenges. Overall, though, we feel we’re doing really well. We’ve been fortunate to meet incredible people who have helped us along the way.
At the moment, we’re back in Puerto Rico after spending 10 days in the Dominican Republic. Since our last post, we’ve covered over 600 nautical miles.
After leaving Guadeloupe in late January, we sailed to St. Eustatius, St. Martin, the Virgin Islands, where our journey began, then on to Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, and now back to Puerto Rico for rudder repairs. I’ve also shared a four-minute YouTube video highlighting some of our favorite moments, including another dolphin encounter, zip-lining in the Dominican Republic, and snorkelling in the Virgin Islands. See the link at the bottom of this page.
From here, we plan to sail the final leg from Puerto Rico through the Bahamas, arriving in the eastern United States by June.
Unfortunately, our web hosting subscription expires at the beginning of April, and we won’t be renewing it for the coming year. I’ll be continuing to share photos and stories on Instagram for anyone who’d like to follow along there.
This page will close at the end of the month.
Thanks.
Tim, Michelle, Aliya and Owen
